One killed, another hurt as speeding bus hits cyclists in Caloocan

A cyclist was killed while his passenger was injured after they were hit by an out-of-control bus in Caloocan City early on Monday. Radio dzBB's Allan Gatus reported that both victims were rushed to the Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center in Manila after being hit by a bus at the corner of 10th Avenue and Serrano Streets in Caloocan City. The police arrested the bus driver who alleged that the victims suddenly crossed the street. However, the report also quoted residents as saying the bus driver was racing against the driver of another bus. - VVP, GMA News
