After his wife failed to "like" his Facebook status, a man in Pecos, Texas allegedly hit his wife last week, a report of the news site Carlsbad Current-Argus said. Based on the court documents cited by Carlsbad Current-Argus, Benito Apolinar, 36, pleaded not guilty to the charge of battery on a household member. The report said the fight allegedly started when Benito posted a comment about the anniversary of his mother's passing but his wife Dolores did not click on the "like" button on his status on Facebook. "That's amazing everyone 'likes' my status but you, you're my wife. You should be the first one to 'like' my status," Benito, who was said to be drunk at the time, allegedly told his wife. The report said the couple, married for 15 years and have children, had recently separated.
