Farmer killed by bees in Misamis Oriental

A farmer died after being stung by the bites of killer bees in his farm in Gingoog City, Misamis Oriental over the weekend. Jimmy Almazon, 48, was killed by bees after accidentally bumping onto their beehive as he was harvesting copra. He was bitten by bees from head to foot. Almazon was rushed to Gingoog Hospital but was later transferred to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) in Cagayan de Oro, where he passed away. - VVP, GMA News
