Pinay, 2 others face UAE court for running brothel

A Filipina and two others faced a United Arab Emirates (UAE) court Monday on charges that they were allegedly running a brothel in an apartment, a report of the news site Khaleej Times said on Tuesday. Aside from the 45-year-old Filipina maid, 45, those charged were a 48-year-old Emirati housewife and a 60-year-old Syrian accountant, the report said. Khaleej Times said the Emirati housewife was also charged with allegedly having illicit consensual sex with an Iranian visitor. The report said an Arab woman and an Ethiopian maid were also brought to court for allegedly indulging in prostitution in the brothel. Khaleej Times said an undercover police officer paid the Emirati woman 2,000 Dirhams (Dh) to let the Arab woman have sex with him. The Arab woman was reportedly caught after undressing as she was preparing to have sex with the undercover officer. - VVP, GMA News
