Kidnapped gun store owner, driver released in Iligan

A gun store owner abducted by unidentified men early this month in Iligan City has been released along with her driver, the spokesman for the National Police said Wednesday. In a text message to reporters, Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr. said Faridah Adilao and her driver, Mokamad Mimbantas Adilao, were freed about 1:30 a.m. in Barangay Fuentes in Iligan City. The two were seized also in Iligan City last October 1. The victims were then brought to a local hospital to undergo medical checkup. Authorities were expected to be conduct debriefing procedures on the victims, Cruz said. — RSJ, GMA News
