Traffic along EDSA snarled as bus crashes onto MRT wall

Traffic along a portion of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) was snarled on Monday morning after a passenger bus went out of control and crashed onto a wall of the Metro Rail Transit (MRT-3). While no one was reported injured, the incident caused a traffic jam that extended to Kamuning in Quezon City, radio dzBB quoted a Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) report as saying. An entry on the MMDA's Twitter account said the incident occurred at about 9:37 a.m. at the corner of Boni Avenue and the southbound part of EDSA. The initial investigation showed the bus went out of control and hit a private vehicle before hitting the MRT wall. The report said uuthorities are tracking down the driver of the "Dela Rosa Transit" bus who fled after the incident. - VVP, GMA News
