UNESCO e-platform hacked

Hackers broke into the e-platform domain of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) earlier this month, a hacking site reported early Monday. The Hacker News said the "Fatal Error Crew" hackers defaced the UNESCO e-platform site but did not indicate when the attack occurred. "The E-Platform domain of one of the Biggest Organisation United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) got hacked and defaced by Fatal Error Crew hackers," it said. As of 4 a.m. Monday (Manila time), however, the site appeared to be back to normal (http://creativecontent.unesco.org/welcome). The mirror of the defaced site showed the message, "(PWNED UNESCO !!!!)" A date on the defaced site showed September 25, 5:28 p.m., but it was not clear if that was the date the hackers accessed the site. — TJD, GMA News
