New Angry Bird debuts in Halloween-themed game edition

Angry Birds fans, meet the newest Angry Bird. The newest addition to the massively popular game, an unnamed orange bird, is part of the Halloween edition of the game dubbed "Ham'o'Ween." "He starts out small, but don't let his looks fool you!" read a description of the bird on the Android Marketplace and on Apple's App Store. Both iOS and Android versions of the game offer "filled with pumpkin patches, exploding jack-o-lanterns, and creepy skeletons, lit by a full moon and eerie lantern light." The game promised "all tricks and no treats for the pigs this year," especially with the brand new bird! The app was released October 21 and runs on Android 1.6 and up. It is a 19-mb download file and is free. However, the app for iOS is available at $0.99 as a 13.7-mb download.
