Fire razes boarding house in Sta. Mesa, Manila

A fire of undetermined origin razed a boarding house in Altura Extension, Sta. Mesa, Manila on Tuesday morning. No one was reported injured in the fire that started at around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, radio dzBB's Glen Juego reported. The fire reportedly reached the third alarm before firefighters managed to place it under control at 8:50 a.m. Investigators are verifying claims by residents that the fire started after a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tank exploded. - with Justin Joyas, VVP, GMA News
