2 suspected robbers killed in Manila shootout

Two suspected robbers were shot dead following an encounter with police in Manila, moments after pulling off their last heist before dawn Thursday. Police said the two had just held up an unidentified victim near the corner of Claro M. Recto Avenue and Jose Abad Santos Streets, radio dzBB's Rodil Vega reported. An initial investigation showed the two suspects, who were not immediately identified, had just pulled off a holdup when they chanced on policemen from the Manila Police District's Station 2.
