US Embassy in Manila closed Oct. 31, Nov. 1


The United States Embassy and its affiliated offices will be closed to the public on October 31, a Philippine special non-working day and November 1, All Saints’ Day. In a news release, the Embassy said it will reopen to the public and resume services on November 2, All Souls' Day. All Saints' Day, November 1, is a Catholic feast for honoring all saints, both those who are known and the unknown. On the other hand, All Souls' Day, November 2, is a Catholic feast day for remembering the dead. - GMA News
