Murder victim found floating in Las Piñas river

The body of a dead man, suspected to be a victim of summary execution, was found floating in a river in Zapote, Las Piñas City on Friday morning. In an interview over radio dzBB, Las Piñas police chief Senior Superintendent Romulo Sapitula said, "May packaging tape ang mukha at ang initial investigation ng imbestigador, may saksak sa dibdib." The victim, about 5'4" to 5'6" tall, was found half-naked, wearing only short pants. Sapitula said Scene of the Crime Operations (SOCO) investigators are still processing the body for leads. - VVP, GMA News
