PAL to resume full domestic operations starting Nov 24

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines on Saturday said it expects to resume full domestic operations starting November 24. PAL reduced its domestic flights by 30 percent and international flights by 12 percent in September as it prepared to spin off three of its non-core businesses. A wildcat strike by some of its ground crew workers in late September also hampered operations. In a post on its Twitter account, PAL provided a link indicating its domestic flight schedules. "PAL resumes full domestic operations starting 24 November 2011," it said. The link leads to a page covering PAL's international and domestic flight schedules up to March 24, 2012. It said departures and arrivals for international flights are at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2. However, operations for domestic flights are split between NAIA Terminals 2 and 3. Those at NAIA-2 include:

    - Butuan - Cagayan de Oro - Cebu - Davao - General Santos - Iloilo - Kalibo - Legazpi - Laoag - Puerto Princesa - Tagbilaran - Roxas
Those at NAIA-3 include:
    - Bacolod - Cotabato - Dipolog - Dumaguete - Ozamiz - Tacloban - Zamboanga
“As the third party service providers build up and complete manpower requirements for airport services, PAL expects to mount additional flight frequencies across its various routes by November," PAL said earlier. — LBG/HS, GMA News
