NDRRMC: 1 killed, 2 others missing after swimming in Bukidnon

One person was confirmed dead while two others were reported missing after they were swept by a sudden rush of water while swimming in Bukidnon late Sunday, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said the incident occurred at 5 p.m. at Gantungan Falls at Gantungan Cedar Creek. It identified the fatality as John Perdon; while Spencer Tagud, John Milla and a certain Emy survived the incident. Raymond Tenepere and Karen Castro were reported missing and were believed to have drowned, the NDRRMC said. Local police, Army and Red Cross personnel continued to conduct search-and-rescue operations for the two missing persons. — RSJ, GMA News
