Ex-Sen. Ramon Revilla Sr. rushed to hospital

Former Senator Ramon Revilla Sr. is now stable after being rushed to the hospital on Tuesday, right after his son Joseph Bautista was questioned by the police for the death of elder brother Ramgen "Ram" Revilla. In a report aired over GMA News TV's "Quick Response Team," anchor and reporter Jiggy Manicad said Revilla Sr. was taken to the St. Luke's Medical Center in Taguig City on Tuesday. The report did not say what happened to the former senator but that he is now in stable condition. Revilla Sr. was rushed to the hospital after his 18-year-old son Joseph Bautista, 18, was brought in for an inquest by the Parañaque City Police in connection with the death of his other son, Ram Revilla, 23, who was stabbed and shot dead last Friday. The two — Ramgen and Joseph — lived in the same house. Also earlier arrested were two suspects who police identified only as Michael and Francis. The Revilla family, however, expressed disbelief that Bautista would be involved in the death of his elder brother. — Kimberly Jane Tan/RSJ, GMA News
