Google updates Google+ app for Apple iOS

Shortly after updating its Google+ app for devices running Android, Google upgraded the version of the app for phones and devices running Apple’s iOS. Version 1.0.6.2591 of Google’s Google+ app offers support for typing notifications and presence in Messenger, according to a description of the new app on Apple’s App Store. Messenger is the super-fast group messaging for everyone in circles in Google+. Other new features include support for +1 of photos, along with bug fixes and performance improvements. The Google+ for mobile app aims to make “sharing the right things with the right people a lot simpler." It said Google+’s Circles let a user share the right things with just the right people. The app is a 17.4-mb download and is ompatible with iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad running iOS 4.0 or later. — RSJ, GMA News
