1 killed, 1 critical in Antipolo road accident

A truck driver was killed while his helper was injured after their delivery truck flipped over in a road accident in Antipolo City before dawn Saturday. The Elf-type truck was allegedly trying to avoid hitting a tricycle when it turned turtle along Olalia Road, radio dzBB reported. It cited initial information identifying the fatality as Junie Masinas. His helper, Johnny dela Cruz, was in critical condition at the Amang Rodriguez Hospital. An initial investigation showed the truck was delivering soft drinks and traveling on Olalia Road when Masinas swerved to avoid hitting a tricycle.
