Petron, Shell, Seaoil roll back fuel prices

Motorists can expect some relief from high fuel prices this weekend, as oil firms implement a rollback of their products' prices. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority on Saturday night issued an advisory that Petron, Shell and Seaoil will implement their rollback at 6 a.m. Sunday. "ADVISORY: P1.50 rollback on gasoline tomorrow Nov. 6, 6 a.m. at Petron, Shell, and Seaoil. Rollback as well on other petroleum products," it said. A separate report on Bombo Radyo said Shell will roll back its prices by P1.50 per liter for gasoline, 50 centavos for kerosene, 70 centavos for regular gas, and 15 centavos for diesel. The Bombo Radyo report also said Flying V will implement its own rollback on Monday, including P1.50 per liter for gas, P1 for regular gas, and 15 centavos for biodiesel. The MMDA also retweeted an advisory by "Petron Price Monitor," an unofficial public service account, that the rollback will include P1.50 per liter (Blaze, XCS and Xtra), 70 centavos (regular), 25 centavos (diesel), and 50 centavos (kerosene). — ELR, GMA News
