Report: New witness in Revilla slay case surfaces

A new witness in the killing of Ramgen "Ram" Revilla, half-brother of Sen. Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr., has presented himself to the Parañaque City police, a report on GMA News TV said Monday. The report, quoting sources, identified the witness only as Alias Lim, reportedly a friend of arrested suspects Michael Altea and Roy Francis Tolisora. In his testimony, Lim claimed to have met two other suspects, Norwin dela Cruz and Glaiza Vista, two times days before Ram's killing on Oct. 28. He said they discussed payment for the killing, but added that he backed out because his conscience bothered him. Dela Cruz and Vista are still at large.

Also implicated in the case were Ram's younger siblings Ramona Bautista, who fled the country days after the incident, and Ramon Joseph "RJ" Bautista, who is already in police custody. Ram was shot and stabbed inside his Parañaque City home on the night of Oct. 28. His girlfriend, Janelle Manahan, survived the attack and is currently confined at a hospital. - KBK, GMA News
