Cops ready security for Ramgen slay suspects' preliminary probe

With the preliminary investigation of two suspects in the murder of Sen. Ramon Revilla Jr.'s half-brother Ramgen Bautista being rescheduled for Wednesday, police readied tight security measures for the proceedings. Parañaque police chief Senior Superintendent Billy Beltran said Special Weapons and Tactics teams will secure Michael Cruz Altea and Roy Francis Tolisora for Wednesday's proceedings. The preliminary investigation initially scheduled for Tuesday did not push through as Altea and Tolisora's lawyers did not show up, radio dzBB's Sam Nielsen reported. Also, the report said police are planning security arrangements for a third suspect, Ramon Joseph, who will be arraigned on November 16. Ramon Joseph, Ramgen's brother, waived his right to a preliminary investigation. He is to be arraigned before Judge Fortunito Madrona on charges of murder and frustrated murder. He was transferred to Parañaque City Jail from the city police station Tuesday evening. — LBG, GMA News.
