PAL says more flights returning to NAIA 2

Starting Thursday, more flights of flag carrier Philippine Airlines will resume operations at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2. In an announcement, PAL said only flights between Manila and five local destinations will still operate from the NAIA Terminal 3. "As service providers gradually meet manpower requirements, more flights are expected to follow suit and revert back to T2 (NAIA-2)," it said. Effective Thursday, PAL said six flights will be operating at NAIA-2:

  • PR391 and PR392: Manila to Tacloban and back
  • PR393 and PR394: Manila to Tacloban and back
  • PR187 and PR188: Manila to Cotabato and back On the other hand, 18 flights will still operate from NAIA-3 until further notice:
  • PR123 and PR124: Manila to Zamboanga and back
  • PR291 and PR292: Manila to Dumaguete and back
  • PR163 and PR164: Manila to Ozamiz and back
  • PR167 and PR168: Manila to Dipolog and back
  • PR133 and PR134: Manila to Bacolod and back
  • PR293 and PR294: Manila to Dumaguete and back
  • PR157 and PR158: Manila to Bacolod and back
  • PR125 and PR126: Manila to Zamboanga and back
  • PR135 and PR136: Manila to Bacolod and back PAL said flights departing from NAIA 3 in the morning are checked in at Island C (Counters C06 to C14) while PAL's afternoon flights in the same terminal are checked in at island A (counters A17 to A23). Morning flights include PR123, PR291, PR163, PR167, and PR133; while afternoon flights include PR293, PR157, PR125, and PR135. PAL had operated some flights from NAIA's Terminal 3 since late September, shortly before spinning off three non-core businesses last Oct. 1. It is trying to normalize operations in the wake of protests and strikes by members of its ground crew union who were affected by the spin-off. — RSJ, GMA News
