Pinoys in Japan urged to make early consular transactions

To avoid long queues during the holidays, the Philippine Embassy in Japan advised Filipinos based there to make their consular transactions early. In a public advisory, the Philippine embassy in Tokyo said early transactions can help Filipinos avoid the long queues during the pre-Christmas and post-New Year holiday rushes. “Avoid the long queues and the holiday rush of the pre-Christmas and post-New Year days. Avoid last-minute transactions," it said. “Give yourselves time for the holidays. File your applications with the Consular Section today!" it added. The embassy pointed out there will be many holidays in the next two months. Last-minute preparations may mean a chance of applicants forgetting this or that requirement due to lack of preparations, it noted. “Iwasan ang mahabang pila sa pagpasa ng papel ngayong Disyembre at sa darating na Enero. Bigyang-halaga ang inyong oras sa pamilya ngayong Kapaskuhan at Bagong Taon," it said. - VVP, GMA News
