Fire hits residential area in Caloocan City

A fire of undetermined origin razed a residential district in Caloocan City Thursday morning, snarling traffic in the area. While no one was initially reported injured, residents scrambled to save their belongings, radio dzBB's Allan Gatus reported. Some even tried to bring out their appliances such as washing machines, the report said.
Other residents tried to help firefighters battle the blaze along Samson Road, which had reached the third alarm as of 9:40 a.m. Traffic was snarled in the area, with Samson Road closed to traffic after responding fire trucks occupied it.
