Malabon City offers free live showing of Pacquiao bout

Residents of Malabon City will get to watch the fight between boxing icon Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez this Sunday live, and for free. Malabon City officials are now preparing a local sports center to show the bout live, according to a report by radio dzBB's Allan Gatus. The city government's arrangements at the Oreta Sports Center include large TV screens and "complimentary tickets" to local residents, the report said. City police will also be deployed to the sports center to secure the spectators. Pacquiao is due to face Marquez in Las Vegas on Sunday (Manila time) for their third face-off. The Armed Forces of the Philippines and Philippine National Police are also preparing their respective facilities to show the Pacquiao bout to their personnel and their families for free. — LBG, GMA News
