PEP: Ramona's Turkish husband says allegations against his wife were made up

A Turkish online news site reported on November 8, Tuesday, that Ma. Ramona Bautista has been married to a Turkish man for three years now. The Hurriyet Daily News article, with the headline "Filipino suspect flees to Turkey," stated that Ramona is married to one Engin Tuna Bulbuloglu. Ramona is one of the suspects in the killing of her brother Ramgen Revilla. Ramona was seen at the Ninoy Aguino International Airport on Friday night, November 4, Hong Kong bound. She headed to Turkey afterwards. Citing a quote from the Daily Vatan, the said news article stated that Ramona's husband refuses to believe in the accusations against his wife. Bulbuloglu said, "Nothing will come out of this incident. Everything is merely made up of allegations. No one can touch us." Before bounding on a plane last Friday night, Ramona recanted her earlier statement that she was abducted by Ramgen Revilla's killers. She stated that she fabricated the story out of guilt for leaving her brother and his girlfriend Janelle Manahan after the two were attacked on October 28.
