Woman falls 4 stories to death from Makati condo

Police are investigating the death of a woman who fell four stories from a condominium building in Makati City Thursday night. The victim, initially identified as Mely de Castro, 36, fell from the fourth floor of the condo at Tordesillas Street, radio dzBB reported early Friday. De Castro was a resident of the Asian Mansion in Legazpi village and was visiting her friend Charmaine Santiago at the time of the incident, the report said. The dzBB report cited a sketchy initial information indicating De Castro fell from the fourth floor of the Prince Tower I building. It quoted a security guard of the building, Jessie Cordero, as saying he heard a commotion at Santiago's unit at about 8 p.m. When he went to check and opened the door of the unit, he saw De Castro running to the window and then jump.
