PHL Embassy in Singapore revises passport appointment sked

The Philippine Embassy in Singapore has revised its schedule for electronic passport appointments. Since November 8, the embassy has been accepting walk-in e-Passport appointment applications only from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. "Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications via e-mail to passport-appointment@philippine-embassy.org.sg," it said. The embassy also indicated the number of days to process applications, depending on the day these are submitted by email:

  • if submitted between midnight on Sunday to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday: three working days.
  • for those submitted from 5:00 p.m. Thursday to midnight Sunday, and also on the eve of and during public holidays: four working days to process. The embassy strongly warned against sending multiple applications as this may delay the processing of the application. Applicants who want to follow up on their application can send an email to consular.sgpe@gmail.com with the following details:
  • Name of Applicant/s
  • E-mail Address used to send application
  • Date Application was Sent
  • Mobile Phone Number Those who wish to reschedule their appointment may send an e-mail to passport-appointment@philippine-embassy.org.sg, with your appointment code in the subject line. "You will need to resubmit all previously submitted documents in order to process your request. Phone requests for rescheduling will not be entertained," it said. Applicants who do not arrive for their scheduled appointments will be waitlisted for two weeks prior to being allowed to schedule another appointment. - VVP, GMA News
