Janelle Manahan tweets for the 1st time after Ram’s death

The girlfriend of Ramgen "Ram" Revilla, the slain half-brother of Sen. Ramon “Bong" Revilla Jr., on Sunday tweeted for the first time after she was seriously wounded in the attack that led to her boyfriend’s death. “Overwhelmed by all the messages I’ve been getting on Facebook and Twitter," Janelle Manahan said through her Twitter account @Janelle_Manahan at 1:34 p.m. on Sunday. Manahan, who had undergone facial surgery last week after suffering four facial fractures during the attack on her and Ramgen on the night of Oct. 28, also thanked her friends and other Twitter followers for their messages. “I wish I can answer them all 1 by 1," she said. “I get my strength from all of you, God, my family, friends, and Ramgen." For the next six to eight weeks, Manahan will have to wear a brace that will keep her from opening her mouth. She nevertheless said she was “doing well." “Fast recovery actually," Manahan said. In what may be a sign of her road to recovery, she even tweeted about boxing champ Manny Pacquiao, who won in a match against Mexico’s Juan Manuel Marquez on the same day. “Congratulations, Manny Pacquiao," she said. Message for ‘Tita Leng’ Meanwhile, Manahan said she wants to meet with Ramgen’s mother, Genelyn Magsaysay, reported GMA News TV’s “Balitanghali" newscast Sunday. “I’m looking forward to seeing you again, to sit and talk to you, Tita Leng," Manahan said in her written message to Magsaysay.
“I wanna understand things, gulong gulo po ako," she added. “God be with you po and ingat po lagi. I know not all is well but I hope you’re coping well." Earlier, Chief Superintendent Enrique Sy, head of the police task force investigating Ramgen’s killing, said Manahan’s testimony supports the “sibling-rivalry" angle on the incident that took place in the victim’s Parañaque City home last October 28. —MRT/KBK/HS, GMA News
