Taxi driver found dead inside cab in Manila

The police are now investigating the death of a taxi driver whose lifeless body was found inside his cab in downtown Manila early on Monday. Radio dzBB's Cecilia Villarosa reported that the driver was found inside the cab at around 5:00 a.m. at the corner of Tayuman and Ipil Streets in Manila's Sta. Cruz district. The initial investigation showed that the victim left his taxi garage at about 4:30 a.m. The police are tracing a shell from a cal-.45 pistol found inside the cab, and investigating a gunshot mark at the cab's window. - VVP, GMA News
