Citing bad weather conditions, air carrier Cebu Pacific on Monday canceled at least four flights with destinations in Visayas and Mindanao. In an advisory on its Twitter account, Cebu Pacific indicated the flights included:
5J-877 and 878: Cebu to Siargao and back 5J-785 and 786: Manila to Butuan and back Affected passengers will be accommodated on the next available flights. You may also rebook within 30 days of cancellation or Travel Fund without penalties, the airline said. "We always place top priority in your safety; thank you for your understanding," it said. Earlier, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said a potential cyclone - a low-pressure area - neared Surigao before noon Monday. It warned of flash floods and landslides on parts of the Visayas and Mindanao. — RSJ, GMA News
