Citing bad weather conditions there, air carrier Cebu Pacific canceled Tuesday at least 12 flights with destination points in Luzon and the Visayas. In an announcement on its Facebook account, Cebu Pacific said the flights include:
5J-323 and 5J-324: Manila to Legaspi and back 5J-519 and 5J-520: Manila to Naga and back 5J-711 and 5J-712: Manila to Catarman and back 5J-373 and 5J-374: Manila to Roxas and back 5J-339 and 5J-340: Manila to Kalibo and back 5J-504 and 5J-505: Manila to Tuguegarao and back "Affected passengers will be accommodated on the next available flights. You may also rebook within 30 days of cancellation or Travel Fund without penalties," it said. "We always place top priority in your safety; thank you for your understanding," it added. Earlier, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said a potential cyclone may pass through Mindanao and Visayas. PAGASA forecaster Elson Dianela also said the LPA may become a cyclone but is likely to do so while exiting Philippine territory. â RSJ, GMA News
