Cebu Pacific on course to flying 12M this year

Cebu Pacific planes on domestic and international flights were, on average, 88 percent full when they flew 1.1 million passengers last month, the airline said even as it confirmed it “stays on track for its 12 million passenger target for the year." Cebu Pacific flew nearly 860,00 domestic travelers and 231,000 international passengers in all of October, according to its vice president for marketing and distribution Candice Iyog. October was an off-peak travel month, the airline said. “The airline will continue boosting travel within the country and top Asia-Pacific destinations by offering the lowest fares in all the markets it serves," Iyog said. In a first for any Philippine airline, Cebu Pacific first hit the one million mark last April and May. “We encourage everyone to book their seats early and check-in online for the best airfare deals and utmost travel convenience," Iyog also said in a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange. — ELR, GMA News
