Mother in Pangasinan slits throat of own child

A 32-year-old woman was arrested after allegedly slitting the throat of her three-year-old child in San Fabian town, Pangasinan province. The police are looking into whether the woman was suffering from mental problems when she killed her child, radio dzBB's Pangasinan affiliate reported on Wednesday. Sketchy initial reports showed the incident occurred at the victim's house in San Fabian town, when the mother suddenly slit the throat of the sleeping three-year-old.
