Jolina sings Michael V's Super Twins theme

Jolina Magdangal, who was chosen to sing the theme song of the upcoming fantaserye Super Twins, said she was pleasantly surprised to learn that it was Michael V. who composed the song — a ballad. In an interview with "Chika Minute" at last Tuesday's 24 Oras, Magdangal said she was used to hearing the talented singer, songwriter, and comedian sing novelty songs with amusing lyrics. So she was surprised to learn that the voice on the demo tape given her was his. Michael V., being the composer, coached Magdangal during the first day of recording on Monday. He said he was pleased at the result of his collaboration with Magdangal, with the song becoming a mixture of their versions. Both the composer and the singer expressed pride over the song. Michael V. said the song spoke of the fact that super heroes are depended upon for their abilities to solve any trouble and save those in distress. Magdangal explained any singer asked to interpret the theme song of a primetime TV series has reason to be proud. Michael V. comes fresh from the success of his latest album Michael V: The Bubble G. Anthology which hit gold merely two weeks after its release late last year. Super Twins" has Jennylyn Mercado and Nadine Samonte in the title role.
