Ordinansa vs aerial spraying pirmado na

Pirmado na ni Mayor Rodrigo Duterte ang Aerial Spraying Ordinance, matud pa ni Atty. Wendel Avisado, city administrator.

Unod sa ordinansa ang pagdili sa aerial spraying sa banana plantations ug ingon man ang tulo ka bulan nga lugway sa mga banana grower sa pagbalhin ngato sa manual nga pamaagi sa pag-spray o ground spraying.

Bisan wala ikalipay sa commercial banana growers’ association ang maong balaod, gibutyag niini nga dako ang ilang respeto sa desisyon. Apan mubo ra kuno kaayo ang tulo ka bulan nga lugway sa pagba-o sa pamaagi sa pag-spray.
Tungod niini, giplano sa mga grower nga i-apela ngadto kang Mayor Duterte ang gilatid nga tulo ka bulan.

Gikatahong dili unta uyon ang banana planters sa ordinansa tungod kay giingong makaapekto kini sa kalidad ug sa produksiyon sa saging.

Pabor sa opinion sa growers si councilor Nilo Abellera, apan parehas kanila, girespeto niya ang desisyon sa mayor. -Testigo
