Danish princess remarries, loses title

COPENHAGEN, Denmark - Hong Kong-born Princess Alexandra of Denmark, divorced from a Danish prince, gave up her royal title Saturday when she married her cameraman boyfriend.

Alexandra and Martin Jorgensen tied the knot in a private ceremony at Oster Egede Church in the Danish town of Fakse in front of 120 guests, local media reported.

Alexandra, 42, divorced Prince Joachim, the second son of Queen Margrethe of Denmark, in 2004. The couple had two children, 3-year-old Felix and 7-year-old Nikolai, who were both at their mother's second wedding.

Alexandra will in the future be known as Alexandra Christina, Countess of Frederiksborg.

Alexandra will continue to receive a royal allowance of about $330,000 a year, but will now be subject to tax and other duties like other Danish citizens.
