CebuPac extends P1/seat promo to March 11

Cebu Pacific will be extending its promotional offer of P1 per seat on local flights after seats for five of its international destinations were sold out on Wednesday.

The promo, which would originally run from March 2 to 8, covered the airline's 20 local and 5 foreign destinations.

Candice Iyog, CEB vice president for marketing and product said in a statement that more than 300,000 seats were originally offered at the P1 fare.

“We have already sold-out all seats for Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, and Jakarta but we still have over 100,000 seats available for our domestic sector," Iyog said in the statement.

With this, the airline is extending its P1 seat sale until March 11 for passengers who wish to travel from June 1 to December 15, 2007. The P1 one-way fare, exclusive of taxes and surcharges, would now only extend to flights to local destinations.

“We have seen record breaking demand levels for our flights on cebupacificair.com and via our call center and ticket offices. We hope that with the extension of our sale, those who were unable to get their tickets previously; will now be able to do so." Iyog said.-GMANews.TV
