In recent years, the Catholic Church has been dogged by a number of controversial cases of priests embroiled in sex scandals, such as a priest in Iloilo province charged with rape and others accused of having relations with women contrary to their own vow of chastity. Reporter Mark Salazar investigates the impact of these controversial cases on the the Church faithful. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe recently declared that Japan did not have to apologize for “comfort women" during World War II because there is no evidence to back allegations that these women were forced to become sex slaves. Reporter Tina Panganiban-Perez tries to find out what the impact will be on the cry for justice of some 200 surviving Filipino comfort women.
