Report: Hazing suspects in Malaysia?

Some of the members and officers of the Tau Gamma Phi fraternity and Tau Gamma Sigma sorority who figured in the fatal hazing of a 19-year-old mechanical engineering student may have fled for Malaysia. Radio dzBB reported Thursday afternoon that this was the gist of information received by authorities, who are now looking for at least 30 members of the fraternity-sorority group. It did not name the members who reportedly fled for Malaysia, which is a two-hour plane ride from Palawan. Police have charged more than 30 members of the fraternity-sorority for the fatal hazing of Roland Seguiña, 19, and the dumping of his body into the Iwahig River Sunday last week. Earlier, police had arrested at least two members of the fraternity-sorority who allegedly took part in the hazing, and one foreigner whose vehicle was used to dump the victim's body. The charges include obstruction of justice, violation of the anti-hazing law, and violation of the child abuse law. - GMANews.TV
