Claudine, Gretchen Barretto kiss and make up

After years of feuding, the Barretto sisters Claudine and Gretchen have kissed and made up. They met by chance, and embraced, at a grocery store. In an exclusive interview with GMA News, Claudine said the reconciliation happened when they met by chance at a grocery store in Makati City last week. “Totoo yun nagkita kami last week. Biglaan yung pagkikita namin, walang usapan na magkikita kami. It was very emotional and it was a very, very good meeting," she said. Claudine admitted that she missed Gretchen so much and she was happy they were able to iron things out. “I don’t wanna go into details kasi parang siguro antagal naming inantay ‘to. Siguro mas maganda yung sa amin na lang muna ‘to," she said. Claudine said that with the recent development in her life, she can now give more attention to her pregnancy. “Better (na ang pagbubuntis), wala nang morning sickness, wala nang lihi. Inaayos na namin yung nursery," she said. Claudine is on her sixth month of her pregnancy – her first child with husband Raymart Santiago. She is set to take a maternity leave from the show business next week. Gretchen and her family, the Barrettos, have been feuding since 2004 when ABC-5, owned by Gretchen's partner Antonio “Tonyboy" Cojuangco, hired Willie Revillame to host the game show Puso o Pera? Dennis Padilla, Willie's former co-host in Masayang Tanghali Bayan (MTB) and husband of Gretchen’s sister, Marjorie, reportedly questioned why the station hired Willie. Padilla reportedly had a heated conversation with Gretchen on the matter. Padilla allegedly blamed Willie for ABC 5’s decision on axing MTB, which left him jobless. Gretchen and Dennis’ alleged quarrel led to the comedian-actor and his family’s abandonment of the house at the Loyola Grand Villas in Quezon City – which Gretchen owned. - AMITA LEGASPI, GMANews.TV
