Pacquiao mansion explodes in celebration

Manny Pacquiao’s mother did not watch the live broadcast of the fight of her son Sunday and instead kept on praying until she was told that Jorge Solis kissed the canvas in Round 8, radio DZBB reported.
“Tuloy-tuloy ang dasal ko na bigyan ng lakas ang anak ko…bigyan ng kaligayahan ang mga Pilipino (I prayed that my son will have strength and for the happiness of Filipinos)," Dionisia told DZBB in an interview at Pacquiao’s mansion in General Santos City.
According to the report, the Pacquiao household was silent until someone shouted that the Filipino boxing icon scored a knockout over Solis in the eighth round.
The report said Pacquiao’s mother shed tears of joy upon hearing the good news while other people in the mansion erupted in celebration.
The 57-year-old Dionisia entered alone Pacquiao’s prayer room inside the mansion.
