Fire hits BPI Makati main office

A fire hit the building of Bank of the Philippine Islands in Makati City Thursday afternoon, radio station DZBB reported.
Employees were ordered to leave the building located at the corner of Ayala and Paseo de Roxas avenues as firefighters try to contain the blaze.
Black smoke billowed out from the windows on the fourth floor of the building.
No one was reported injured in the fire that was put out several minutes later.
Arson investigators said electrical overload triggered the fire that broke out on the fourth floor of the building where the International Operations Development Unit holds office. - GMANews.TV
