5-year-old girl saves cousin, 3, from Cebu fire

A five-year-old girl saved her 3-year-old cousin when fire broke out shortly before noon Friday in the central Philippine city of Cebu, police said. Police said Chiyon Culyi braved the flames engulfing the house of his cousin Stephan Ramirez at Sitio Banawa in Guadalupe village about 11 a.m. Moments later, the girl dragged the boy out from certain death. At the time of the incident, Stephan was alone in the house. Fire was put out after 30 minutes, police said. As of posting time, investigators are still determining the cause of the fire. - GMANews.TV
