Ruffa, kids get 3 police 'bodyguards' amid 'threats'

Actress Ruffa Gutierrez and her two daughters got three bodyguards from the Philippine National Police (PNP) Thursday. Radio dzBB reported that the PNP Police Security Protection Office (PSPO) approved Gutierrez's request for security following reported threats to her and her daughters' life. It said PSPO head Chief Supt. Romeo Hilomen approved the detailing of three PSPO personnel to the actress following a "threat assessment" on her formal request. The three PSPO personnel, who were not named, were tasked to protect Gutierrez and her daughters by estranged husband Yilmaz Bektas Lorin and Venice. The dzBB report said Hilomen "turned over" the three PSPO personnel to Gutierrez's mother Annabelle Rama. The actress had earlier alleged that she had been threatened by Bektas who sent the threats through text messages. - GMANews.TV
