Eskwela de los mataderos ipinagmamalaki ng Vigan

Dahil sa mataas na pangangailangan sa mga matadero sa ibang bansa, nagtayo ang Vigan City, Ilocos Sur ng eskwelahan para sa mga matadero, ayon sa ulat ng GMA 7 24-Oras.

Ayon kay Mayor Ferdinand Medina, naengganyo umano ang mga taga-Vigan sa panawagan ni Pangulong Gloria Macapagal Arroyo hinggil sa pangangailangan ng ibang bansa ng mga matadero.

Kaya noong 2006, itinayo ang Eskwela de los Mataderos, ang pinakaunang eskwelahan ng mga matadero sa bansa.

Ayon sa report, ginagamit na laboratoryo ng mga estudyante ang slaughterhouse na itinayo ng mga Espanyol noon pang 1589.

Ayon kay Desiderius Martinez, administrator ng Eskwela de los Mataderos, bukod sa pagiging pinakamatanda ng slaughterhouse, pinakamalinis daw ito sa buong Asya.

Accredited ng Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) ang paaralan, ani Martinez.

Labing-anim sa 50 na mga mag-aaral ang nagtapos kamakailan sa eskwelahan. Ayon kay Martinez, kailangang mentally at physically healthy ang mga matadero para maiwasan ang kontaminasyon.

Ayon kay Dindo Nepacino, isa sa mga nagtapos, world-class ang training sa Eskwela de los Mataderos, may disiplina at marunong makihalubilo sa kapwa.

Ayon sa report, walang bayad ang pag-aaral sa nasabing paaralan dahil subsidized ito ng Tesda. - GMANews.TV
