4.8-magnitude quake hits Davao, Gensan

Hours after a predawn quake jolted residents of General Santos and Kidapawan Cities in South Cotabato, a magnitude 4.8 quake shook Davao and General Santos City Sunday morning. The United States Geological Service said the quake took place at 7:10 a.m. Manila time, and the epicenter was traced 150 km southeast of Davao, or 155 km east of General Santos City.
