Camille Prats temporarily bids goodbye to showbiz

Like her brother John Prats, young TV actress Camille Prats also believes that her career in showbiz will not be forever, so she has decided to go to the United States in September to finish her studies In a taped interview with Startalk last July 14, Camille said, "I think it's about time na gawin ko naman itong ibang dreams ko for myself." She added, "Ngayon po kasi, priority po ang matapos muna ang pag-aaral. I want to ready myself to venture on other things, not only in show business." Camille was first seen in showbiz in 1990 as a contestant in Eat Bulaga's "Little Miss Philippines." She later became a regular in the defunct TV show Ang TV on ABS-CBN. Then, from child star, Camille transformed into a grownup model by gracing the cover of FHM magazine last year. Another career move that Camille did was crossing over from ABS-CBN to GMA-7. Camille's last regular TV show was Super Twins. She was also one of Richard Gutierrez's leading ladies in Captain Barbell. - Philippine Entertainment Portal
