Jail guard shot, fights for life after singing 'My Way'

The curse of the song "My Way" almost claimed the life of a jail guard after he sang it inside a videoke bar in Caloocan City Thursday night. Radio dzBB reported Friday that JO2 Genaro Francisco was rushed to a hospital and is in critical condition after sustaining a gunshot wound. Initial police reports indicated two unidentified men shot Francisco, who is assigned to the Manila City Jail, after being irked for his supposedly singing off-key. The incident took place at Bgy. 176 in the Bagong Silang district in Caloocan City. Police said the two suspects confronted Francisco over his singing, then shot him during their argument. - GMANews.TV
