Remains of two 'salvage' victims found in QC

The bodies of two men believed to be victims of summary executions were discovered early morning in Quezon City, radio station dzBB reported Tuesday. Law enforcers said they discovered the bodies at a vacant lot in Sta. Lucia subdivision in Greater Lagro village at around 5 a.m. The remains were found with plastic bags wrapped around their heads and their hands bound by rope. Initial reports indicated that the bodies did not bear any gunshot nor stab wounds, the report said. Three weeks ago, the bodies of five people also feared to be summarily executed were separately discovered in Tanauan City and Talisay town in Batangas. All five bodies bore various gunshot wounds. Local authorities were looking for a possible connection among the Batangas deaths as the five bodies were discovered at about the same time. - GMANews.TV
