Cebu inmates may bagong sayaw para sa YouTube

Matapos pumatok sa Internet ang sayaw na “Thriller" ng mga bilanggo sa Cebu provincial jail, naghahanda na sila para sa pangalawang video na ipapalabas nila sa YouTube.

Sa ulat ng Sun Star Cebu nitong Linggo, nagsasanay na umano ang mga bilanggo sa kanilang dance step para sa tugtugin “Together in Electric Dreams," na sumikat noong 1980s.

Unang nakilala ang mga inmate ng Cebu provincial jail matapos dumugin ng “hits’ ang kanilang sayaw na inilagay sa YouTube sa tunog ng “Thriller" ni Michael Jackson.

Ayon kay Byron Garcia, consultant on security ng kapitolyo, patuloy ang pagsasanay ng mga bilanggo sa kanilang ikalawang sayaw.

Umupa na rin ng isa pang choreographer, si Gwen Lador, na siyang nagkonsepto sayaw na ginamit sa 438th anniversary celebration ng lalawigan noong nakaraang Lunes na nagustuhan ng mga tao.

Inaasahan ni Garcia na matatapos ng mga inmates ang sayaw sa loob ng dalawang linggo bago nito ito ilagay sa YouTube.

Ang bagong sayaw ay ipakikita ng mga inmates bilang regalo sa kaarawan ni Cebu governor Gwendolyn Garcia sa Oct. 12.

“This will be my special tribute to my sister, the guiding force behind all of this," ani Garcia.

Binigyan-diin ni Garcia na higit sa pagbibigay aliw ng mga bilanggo sa mga nakakapanood sa kanilang sayaw sa YouTube, higit na dapat umanong hangaan ang ipinakikita nilang disiplina.

Ang pagtuturo ng sayaw sa mga bilanggo ay ginawa bilang bahagi ng kanilang ehersisyo. Nagsasagawa rin ang kapitolyo ng mga livelihood programs sa loob ng kulungan tulad ng paggawa ng bag at iba pang pwedeng pagkakitaan. - GMANews.TV
